Fourth Quarter 2025 Video Commentary

The news cycle has been chaotic, and we know that many of our clients faced difficult challenges in 2025. We are here for you whenever you need help planning or making difficult decisions. Amidst the chaos and changes that occurred in 2025, markets and your portfolios ended another year with fantastic returns. A representative 60% stock portfolio returned 12% to conclude the year, twice the expected return of a diversified portfolio. This year was busy from an investment perspective as markets dropped nearly -20% early in the year, and trend-following stepped in successfully to reduce losses. This was followed by a tremendous market rally that only paused and briefly reversed in November. We made significant and beneficial changes to portfolios, the most important being a sizable shift into international stocks.
